*Segment One – Intro show and panel
The team discusses this movie that attempts to portray disassociative identity disorder. It’s a discussion film that is for sure.
Basic show outline:
First Thoughts (5 Words Review) (Trying Something new building on Kira’s idea last week)
SOFT SPOILER Talk (Because it’s hard to talk about this film without spoilers)
This week on Talking Stars, it was time for another round of Film Club. Picking the film to be discussed today was Kira, your hostess for the show. She chose Children Of Men, the 2006 sci-fi drama set in 2027 where women have somehow become infertile, yet one has miraculously become pregnant.
Considering she says she is not a fan of science-fiction, Kira had plenty to say about the film. Joining her was Darren and Damien as usual. They chatted about the performances, storyline and the reasons why Kira chose this as her first pick for Film Club.
After discussing Children Of Men, a short quiz followed to see how well everyone had paid attention to the film when they watched it.
As always, everyone shared what they’ve been watching recently after the show.
